I wonder if Parthenon Cruz left his dog home alone during the flooding, like Cancun Cruz did?? What an ass... that poor little pup! Stuck all alone in a freezing house! I've hated him with even more of a passion since then!

Greece-y Ted. That's the name for your conservative colleagues and all those folks who probably don't know what Parthenon Ted means because they probably don't know what the Parthenon is and what it was used for since it's construction 2400+ years ago. Maybe Ted was there trying to learn from the tour guides how the senators in ancient Greece worshipped in the temple as they pillaged the funds of the republic, the labors of the enslaved and squabbled amongst themselves. Maybe that is the unwritten mission for Project 2025: Use the White House as a temple for the MAGA cult and as a repository for all the billions of dollars grifted from the citizens and corporations of the republic of the USA. After all, the White House does have a pillar theme architecture reminiscent of the Parthenon. Even if you studied in high school the decline and fall of Ancient Greece should be a lesson for all of us to revisit: political instability, economics, wars and the rise of competing empires. Hmmm... history repeating and rhyming?

Nothing dumber than Cruz and Trump together, both have rocks in their heads for brains. That's why they get along so well.

It’s so disgusting. But, what else can we expect from the Dick Tator’s circle?

Cruz is so despicable but Texas keeps him in office. He and the rest of the Texas regime have not done one thing for Texans. Besides the incessant war on women we are always in danger of losing power because they still have not fixed the grid. Renewables have kept the grid from going down but now it looks like we are going to lose them too. I will never forget the picture of that poor dog.

Texas, like Florida, seems to need crappy far right political leaders.

Let's see how they try to blame Biden for the disaster.

Thanks for doing the work for us, Clay. I can't tolerate Cruz but at least I get a capsule view from your blog without having to do the hunts for it. He really is about as ow as one can go, isn't he?

Ted makes me want to believe in the reptilian alien takeover. I hate to think of him as human.

He's much like Trump, only less loveable. If that's possible.

Somebody needs to check Heidi for Stockholm Syndrome.

There should be mandatory filing of his travel plans. That said, he may not be 100% comfy: https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cy8g41ljjjno

I know you sometimes refer to other cartoonists .... this one is so good - Wiley Miller captures the "indignation" of the US (and probably the world) when it comes to politicians disgusting behavior - here is the link https://www.gocomics.com/nonsequitur/2025/07/06. The indignante voter who forgets so quickly and easily.
