Anyone besides me notice that "somehow" none of those hacked documents from the Trump campaign have yet made it to publication? How long did it take for the DNC's emails? How long did it take for the data illegally taken from Hunter's laptop to get published?
Yet the NYT and the WP and CNN somehow can't seem to find the time to publish anything from this stuff from the Trump campaign that was handed to them on a silver platter, with a bow tied on top.
The entire media is turning into a part of the Trump campaign.
Hi Clay, love reading your blogs. Keep up the good work. Also glad to see someone besides myself likes to listen to T Rex. Marc Bolan was taken way too young, but his music lives on.
1. You referred to the practice of U.S. attorneys submitting their resignations when the White House changes hands and that Liu was removed before Biden took office and could, in theory, have kept her on. Liu was yanked in January 2020, which you correctly noted; Biden would not be elected for another 10 months.
Word was that Barr canned Liu because she wasn't sympathetic to Trump's DoJ purge, Andrew McCabe included. The mechanism the used was sleazy — what a shocker!
Trump nominated Liu for a post that requires Senate confirmation. Before the Senate even scheduled hearings, Trump withdrew Liu's nomination. The official narrative was that senate Republicans had signaled lack of confidence in her. Liu quit government the next day, having read the words upon the wall. Barr installed a bootlicker replacement.

AND he made sure that the 10mil he gave his campaign was just a loan…and got it back later after he was elected… I have heard.
Wow! Look at him launder his own money like a big boy!
Tell me why he's not in prison again.
Because the courts have been corrupted by years of Democrats bending over for Republicans who appointed unqualified partisan judges whenever possible.
KOL, Keeling Over Laughing.
Yes...one of these days, the Trump Train will run out of rail and he shalt find himself behind iron bars!
Oh, I so hope you're right, Mark! It's been such a long time coming!

Fabulous toon and blog. Love the sippy cups and other eggs, and the blog helped me filter through the noise and educate me on the numbers.

Good column, sir. Two quick things.

Don't forget the Supreme Court decided that bribery was just a "gratuity." Also tax-free!
Expect him to take a lot more tips
