They're kind of Nazi-lite, but I don't want them anyhow.

Fascism was created in Italy, and was described by Mussolini as "Fascism should more appropriately be called Corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power."

Seems as if Trump and Musk have the same idea.

I don’t know why anyone listens to Elon or the current project 2025 supporting Republican party.

They’re clearly espousing Nazi-type ideas and methods. What’s the point in even trying to engage and explain why people’s rights and lives matter ? If we even have to have that conversation, we’re wasting our time.

I don't think that it's ever a waste of time, Susan! You never know whose ideas you might change. I remember years ago changing the mind of someone who was a strong believer in the death penalty. After our conversation, I found out that she had changed her mind and become adamantly against it. You may not change a LOT of minds, but even one can help. And the may go on to change someone else's mind. You just never know! Don't give up on speaking out - it's hard but worthwhile.

I know what you mean. But I am never going to change the mind of a nazi-enabler or nazi-wannabe. Trying to explain WHY being a nazi is NOT acceptable is a distraction for them and allows them to play games (like that was NOT a nazi salute). I am no longer going to listen to their diversions of how everything is really the fault of the liberals. Right-wing media spews propaganda that apparently robs people of logic and empathy. From now on the only thing I’m going to say to them is I will NOT accept nazi talk or behavior and no decent person should.

My niece said to me, yeah, good luck with that plan, let me know how it works out for you 😂😢

I watched the SNL 50 years of music special last night. It was very entertaining. Two Blues Brothers references in 24 hours...

Yes! Exactly! Spot-on toon and blog.

Perfect toon. "Klansplainin'" is also perfect. It should be the title of your book on the FFOTUS regimes. Hope that's being planned. I can't find any record of FFOTUS reversing the policy to stop the infiltration of the US military by right wingers/white supremacists/neonazis--and yet I thought I heard this reported. The zone is definitely flooded and hard to research.

The book is still in the thought process and "klansplainin'" isn't mine but I don't know who did it first.

It use to be easy to find words like that & info on them, but it's become quite a hunt.

No wonder you can't sleep. This is heavy stuff to have to discuss

Musk learned well living in apartheid South Africa. Donald learned well from his kkk father.

On your toon with the duck, and musk in a trump brown shirt uniform, I commented this.

"Video of Richard Spencer and his fellow white supremacist heiling trump in 2016. "I hate Illinois Nazis"."

Did you get the idea for this toon from that?

Love your work.

Nope, I don't remember your comment (sorry). This idea was written the same day and was in my idea notes until yesterday. I've used the Blues Brothers before, but not with the "Illinois Nazi" thing. https://claytoonz.com/2016/06/27/nazis-got-the-blues/

I'm sure a lot of people thought of this line but no one else thought of putting it into a cartoon. I'm a huge Blues Brothers fan.

That said, comments have inspired me in the past, whether it's here or from a conversation in person, so your question is a good one.
