Speaking on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, Meryl Streep said cats have more freedom under Taliban rule than women. A Taliban spokesman replied, “Nuh-uh.” We are expecting a response from Donald Trump about Haitian immigrants eating cats in Springfield. Dear other cartoonists, don’t steal that.
Streep is right and I trust her more than any MAGAt or the Taliban. The Taliban just introduced a new set of “morality” laws. In Taliban talk, “morality” means suppression. It’s kinda like when Trump talks about freedom and democracy when what he really has in mind is orange fascism.
Remember when the Taliban retook control of Afghanistan after US Troops left the country and they promised not to be as strict as they were the first time they had control? Yeah, that’s over.
Some of the new “morality” laws prohibit women from going outside alone. They must always have their faces covered. Women and girls are also prevented from going to schools, parks, gyms, and sports clubs. There are restrictions on the type of work that they are allowed to do. They’re not allowed to look directly at a man they’re not married or related to. Ladies’ Nights are the local clubs are total disasters.
Trump’s promise to “protect” women and that they’ll “never have to think about abortion again” comes on the heels of the Taliban’s new “morality” laws. The Taliban spokesman said they "highly respected" women and would "never compare them to cats.”
At least Afghan women have that going for them, not being compared to cats which is probably a better promise than Trump has ever given.
Because of the Trump Taliban, women have less freedom in this nation. It’s because of Donald Trump and his Taliban excuse of a Supreme Court that Roe v. Wade was overturned and now yee-haw states are prosecuting women for seeking abortions. Some Red states will force women to have their rapist father’s babies. What will Trump have banned if he gets another four years? Will birth control be banned? Will there be a new law that a woman is not allowed to look directly at a man she’s not married or related to, even if that man is grabbing her by the pussy?
Today, I saw a report that Trump scores higher on foreign policy than Vice President Kamala Harris which makes me sick because Trump didn’t just try to destroy NATO, feud with the female Prime Minister of Denmark because she wouldn’t trade Greenland for Puerto Rico, accuse Mexico of sending us rapists and murderers, “fall in love with Kim Jong Un, extort the president of Ukraine for campaign propaganda on Joe Biden, refer to some non-white-majority nations as “shitholes,” ban immigration from some Muslim nations, mispronounce the names of several nations, disrespect the Queen of England, and trust Vladimir Putin over our intelligence agencies, but he also enabled the Taliban.
While negotiating the US pullout of Afghanistan, Trump didn’t negotiate with the government in charge at the time, but with the Taliban. That would be like the United Kingdom negotiating with Republicans right now instead of the Biden administration. And no, I did NOT accidentally compare Republicans to the Taliban.
Additionally, Trump released over 5,000 Taliban prisoners and other assorted sharia-loving terrorists as part of his negotiations. He even tried to have the Taliban visit Camp David on the anniversary of 9/11.
My question to voters who think Trump is better on foreign policy is: What the fuck is wrong with you?
Trump is as good with foreign policy as he is at protecting women.
Creative note: If you watch the video, you may notice I started at least two other ideas before I landed on this one. I pushed this aside for my Trump Plane cartoon but still liked this idea. The thought of Mango Man being any woman's protector is laughable - and not in a very funny way, but in a very absurd way! OMG, he's the last person - along with Justa Dick Vance - that I would expect ANY sort of protection from, not even a condom. I'll be glad when these 2 jokers and their ilk are out of the picture. I'm tired of being so full of hate. It's not my nature, but I can't seem to shake it. :(
