Paxton is a turd. Abbott is a turd. Melon Husk is a turd. Texas is a cesspool.

He's so awful - it's hard to believe he's still around, except for the fact that he's in Tex-ASS. God, what a place! (although I do know some good people there, I think they're way outnumbered) Great post and cartoon today, Clay!

Maybe some people like living in a state where there is a high chance they'll be sent to the poorhouse by unregulated utility companies who can engage in legalized profiteering. You never know.

I hope Texas discovers the difference between corporate freedom and individual freedom, and that they can have freedom without being screwed up.

"BACKGROUND: Texas AG Paxton’s $2.2M voter fraud unit closed three cases in 2021. GOP lawmakers still boosted its budget." https://www.houstonchronicle.com/politics/texas/article/ken-paxton-voter-fraud-spending-19652309.php

There are 40 electoral votes in play in a state which split 12m votes in 2020 52% Trump and 47% Biden, a difference of 600,000 in a state of 18 million voters! As Paxton removes mostly people who have died or moved (can be within the state and they didn't change their address on their voter registration) there are many other efforts to "Get the vote out!"
