Dear Lordy, not sure if you heard my screaming laughter just now from Philadelphia, PA😲🤯😳 Thank you for, again(!), so stellarly exhibiting the beauty of editorial cartoons: how just *one* line of dialog can mean so SO much MORE🥹 Keep up the fantastic work! I may not be able keep track of Every Damn Thing happening every day, but I never lose track of your new cartoons😍🖖

So like Trump’s German military service evading grandpa, Rubio’s grandfather wasn’t terribly ethical either? And Rubio I’m guessing hasn’t seen a visa application. Or contemplated what his grandfather would’ve written. We need intelligent intelligence people.

Rubio looks a lot like Lindsey Graham these days.

Good information on Rubio's family history, and his hypocrisy, venality and general spinelessness.

The stench of Fox "News" wafts through the air over this continent not unlike what will be the dispersal pattern after the Yellowstone Caldera erupts. It is almost as if descendants of Joseph Gobbels have percolated into each of their spots in the bloating orange toad's administration and are competing against each other to be his official Minister of Propaganda when he names one AND HE WILL NAME ONE! In Trump's imbecile-ridden network if it is, of course, a true race to the bottom.

It won't be Fox running the pack of lies much longer. Their business model is failing, if they couldn't force their way into "packages" they'd already be gone. That goes for CNN and the rest of the 24/7 cable news format, they're all dying.

You want to fix that mess, demand no more "packaging" that includes national channels watched by less than 10 million people. That will clear out a lot of the stupid crap. Make all that stuff "a la carte". (If anyone doesn't know what that stuff means, you need to re-read your streaming service contract CAREFULLY.) Any national channel that has that few viewers needs to be a youtube channel. (NOTE: I said "national", not local live stuff, different category.)

I have a very strong belief that far more people would actually sign up to get MSNBC than FNC, but if we lost both I would not cry. It's a business, not a charity. Investigative reporters need to set up Patreon accounts, because it's not likely to survive otherwise. That's just the way it is nowadays. 24/7 news channels are dying. They were a disservice to the country anyhow.

C-Span DOES provide a service. Would you get rid of them, too? It's, sadly, a slippery slope. CNN, too, provided a service: remember watching the assault on Baghdad? (First Gulf War). I was riveted. The next day, a secretary asked me what I thought. I told her: if 'twere done, were best done quickly (Henry VI Part 3). But that I regarded it as the greatest diplomatic failure of the latter part of the twentieth century. Her response was reminiscent of the mid-60s. She told me: "if you don't love America, then leave." It was then that I felt - kid, you still got it.

C-Span has a tiny budget, and would get by with the ad revenue from their online services. FNC has a budget on the order of 8 billion or so. That's a vast difference. There's no point in trying to get exact numbers on C-Span as they don't file a financial report that I can find. Since they're a non-profit, they don't file with the SEC.

(And I bet you just had the same thought I had on that, "I wonder what their CEO makes?"

Super duper job on the toon and blog for such anti-American vicious actions.

Nice blog Clay, pretty succinct on laying out the issue.

But I take a shortcut on the far right and what they say. It's all lies. If they say they're for freedom they are lying. If they say they won't cut Social Security, they're lying. If they say they're being censored, they're lying again.

They don't know what truth is. All they know is the babblegab stream of consciousness spewed from Trump whenever he can quit stuffing his face, get off the crapper and get his thumbs off a keyboard long enough to actually say something.

I've not heard anything about Trump rallies recently. Gee, ya think he's afraid of being booed? He's got his base right where he wants them, like a prom date roofied beyond coherence. And they aren't sounding too happy right now.

"If Marco had a conscience" just fill in the name of any member of the administration where. you see Marco. There must have been a box to tick for "seared conscience" for donors, backers, lickspittles, etc., to apply to be cabinet members.
