OMG, there are just too many sick and stupid fucks in the MAGA camp. They keep amazing me. Just when I think their idiocy can't get any worse, they surprise me by raising their own bar. How do they get through a day? Hold down a job? Pass their driving test? Order food off of a menu?
They're just really stupid on one subject, anything federal government. They're mostly fine with states, except for California and New York, which are just too stubborn about falling into some kind of third world status.
I started seeing those posters of fully armed and armored troops with the caption "I'm from the government and I'm here to help you" about the time Gingrich was getting going spreading hate and lies about Clinton and the Democrats.
What's truly strange is that many of them know Republican "policies" aren't good for them, but assume Democrats will always be able to block the most destructive crap.
I remember another fellow on the old Bartcop forum who told about his neighbor, who was retired living on social security, when she'd voted for Bush to be reelected was worrying about his instant plan to cut social security. He just told her, "I told you he'd do it and he said he'd try to do it and NOW you believe it?"
That's state law in NC, and is worth a look over, as much of it seems designed to reign in the first amendment as well as the overly imaginative amongst the Trumpers.
