Unfortunately, even if Trump himself isn't better prepared, I am sure those surrounding and supporting him will be. I am trying really hard not to assume the worst but it is very hard to ignore that panic deep inside.

Assume the worst. Stephen Miller is already touted as his deputy chief of staff. The Border Czar is a living monsters.

I thought he'd decided on that gal (Wiles?) who was his campaign manager to be his Chief of Staff. Maybe he changed it since yesterday - I haven't done a deep dive into the news today. I hope it's not Miller - I don't think I'd be able to look into those dead, cold, eyes on a regular basis... he really creeps me out!

Wiles is the chief of staff. Miller is her deputy. Wiles is supposed to be pretty disciplined. The question is will Trump listen to her or Miller. Remember, he has zero loyalty.

Aw, thank you for clarifying - I overlooked the distinction!

You're assuming Trump will be still alive or mentally able to do anything in 2028. I am most ticked that such a traitor as Trump will be around in 2026, the 250th anniversary of July 4th. I was in NYC in 1976, on Liberty Island watching the ships from all over the world passing in "parade" before Lady Liberty, and it was a glorious day where the country was united that day. 2026 won't be a glorious day.

He's not mentally able to do anything now.

So the question becomes, who's pulling the strings? Wiles? Miller? Musk? Who? And I can't wait until they start eating each other.

Trump is falling apart. His inner circle will never turn on him, because he'll throw them away if they do. He's going to be in office for at least four years. Or dead. Dead is very possible.

Let the MAGA's reap what they have sowed.

While I agree that Biden and trump meeting is appropriate, I cannot believe that trump will follow through...he is the devil. I am so sickened by this election. I am so sure we are doomed.

He already not signing the ethics declaration that was enacted during his reign. And not bothering so far to do anything like a transition other than telling the Senate they should take a recess as soon as they start so he can appoint all these recess appointments which don't need to be confirmed by the Senate. In other words, the Senate can go home as he's the one in charge of everything.

Yeah, he doesn't want them to have to go through confirmation hearings which means he's going to appoint some very terrible people.

I am waiting for Trump to be put aside one way or another and be pardoned by Vance. I blame this debacle on Biden and the Democrats. Instead of being left, they stayed right of center, representing the status quo which I don't think anyone wanted. It is also obvious that Biden won't be using his presidential immunity to do something about this clear and present danger. I am filled with disgust.

Considering that Vance has been MIA since the election, I'm wondering if he hasn't already been sent to his room and told to shut up. As for Biden, much as I'd like him to go very dark, he won't. The reason being if he does move against Trump, the country would erupt. I hope Biden can protect the people who would be more vulnerable to Trump.
