President Biden is a bigger man than Donald Trump
Donald Trump tried to steal the 2020 election he lost. He laid the groundwork before election day, claiming it would be corrupt because he knew he was going to lose. After he did lose, he claimed he won and it was stolen from him. He tried to install fake electors. He challenged the count in 60 courts, losing every case. He even called Georgia’s secretary of state and demanded that he find him enough votes, 11,780, for him to win the state he had lost to Biden. Trump sent goons to threaten and intimidate election workers. His legal goons smeared election workers. He blamed voting machines and latched onto conspiracy theories. Eventually, he ordered white nationalist terrorists to attack the Capitol during the certification of the Electoral College. Trump never conceded he had lost that election.
During all that stupid and chaotic hysteria, Trump refused to cooperate with Joe Biden’s transition team and was the first president to refuse a peaceful transfer of power.
Trump halted the tradition of an outgoing president inviting his successor to the White House and refused to attend Joe Biden’s inauguration, choosing instead to fly to Mar-a-Lago at that time with thousands of stolen documents and a full diaper. He was asked to return the documents but no one asked for the diaper.
President Barack Obama invited Donald Trump to the White House during his lame-duck period. Trump accepted and was treated with respect and dignity, something he didn’t deserve, while Michelle Obama hosted Melania Trump.
Instead of holding a grudge and giving Trump the same treatment he received after he defeated him in 2020, President Joe Biden has invited Trump to the White House which is scheduled for Wednesday.
It’s a low bar to compare the president’s maturity, civility, and dignity to Donald Trump, who acts like an entitled spoiled baby, but I really hope MAGAts note the comparison…but they won’t. They’ll probably argue that Biden is supposed to invite Trump while Trump never had an obligation to invite Biden back in 2020. They’ll probably claim Trump had every right to deny a visit in 2020 because the election was “stolen” from him while Biden must invite Trump today because he won with such a massive landslide.
Note: Anyone claiming Trump won with a landslide must also accept that Biden won with a landslide in 2020.
President Biden is inviting Trump because he understands a smooth transition is better for the country. Trump still doesn’t understand that and put himself before the nation in 2020.
When President Obama hosted Trump back in 2016, he told him, “We now are going to want to do everything we can to help you succeed. Because, if you succeed, then the country succeeds.” I don’t agree with that. If Trump succeeds, we’re fucked. If Project 2025 is successfully implemented, American democracy is dead. Trump has already hired people who helped write Project 2025, the first being his new Border Czar.
I hope President Joe Biden tells Trump what he told him to his face back in 2020, “Will you shut up?”
I hope Biden tells Trump the Resistance is strong and will be a major obstacle for him for the next four years if he lasts that long. And, I hope he allows Kamala to come into the room and give Trump a swift kick in the nuts. Don’t worry. Trump will be fine because his balls are so tiny, that they’ll be hard for her foot to find.
When Trump visited in 2016, he asked Obama if the people in the West Wing would stay for his presidency (sic), not knowing he had to hire his own staff of around 400 people. Trump was ignorant about the job he was about to take. He’s probably still ignorant about it. According to reports, the staffers that came along with him didn’t ask Obama’s staffers about Oval Office routines or schedules, but more about how hard it would be to find apartments in Washington, DC. Staffers in Trump’s next administration (gag) are sure to be dumber.
It probably escapes Donald Trump that when he visits Joe Biden’s White House on Wednesday, it’ll illustrate just how mature and grown up Biden is compared to Trump being a diaper-soiling racist crying toddler.
There’s another tradition of presidents leaving notes for their successors in the Resolute Desk. Biden should leave one that says, “Don’t fuck up, Dumbass.”
When MAGA loses in 2028, and they will because it’ll be after four more years of a Trump disaster, I wonder if 82-year-old outgoing president (sic) Donald Trump will invite his Democratic successor to the White House.

Unfortunately, even if Trump himself isn't better prepared, I am sure those surrounding and supporting him will be. I am trying really hard not to assume the worst but it is very hard to ignore that panic deep inside.
You're assuming Trump will be still alive or mentally able to do anything in 2028. I am most ticked that such a traitor as Trump will be around in 2026, the 250th anniversary of July 4th. I was in NYC in 1976, on Liberty Island watching the ships from all over the world passing in "parade" before Lady Liberty, and it was a glorious day where the country was united that day. 2026 won't be a glorious day.
