I suppose it's too much to hope that POS steps into a quicksand pit filled with gators and pythons. Congrats, MAGAs, you have turned me into a sadist who wishes the hell you're bringing to others on YOU.

I hear you... only imaging them being tortured as they torture others keeps me from blowing a gasket. I walk around in a constant state of anger these days - it takes some doing to level off enough to be able to sleep without serious drinking or medicating.

I wish the same thing. My dream is to see Trump, Musk, Putin, and Bibi all tied together, gagged, and built a fire under them and watch them burn. I know that Satan will be rubbing his hands together, waiting for their souls to get to him. He has great plans for them in the deepest depths of hell.

He's been very busy digging out new circles in Hell. Dante is way out of date.

So deeply disturbing are these MAGAt plans, so inhumane...that I can chuckle at this toon has me worried...maybe. But then, the thought of putting this regime in AA really makes me smile. Love this work, but still wondering if the critters include possums.

Yup, opossums & raccoons live in the Everglades and all around south Florida. I see them in my yard sometimes, I'm in western Broward County. I love opossums, they eat ticks! My neighbors that have dogs are happy to have an opossum or two hanging around.

Yup, they're everywhere. Swamps, forests, cities, etc. Maybe not the ocean, but don't doubt them. They're tricky.

Yes. And I never wanted to believe this country was so cruel. No one to stop this so what do all the good “religious” folks on the Court or in office pray for? Or to whom or what?

As Lawrence O'Donnell is saying right now, the R party, POS, his entire administration is an example of the banality of evil. This is the latest NYT breaking news: "Trump Administration Withholds Nearly $7 Billion for Schools, With Little Explanation The money helps pay for after-school and summer programs, support for students learning English, teacher training and other services. But in an email, the Education Department notified state education agencies that the funds would not be available."

The "legal murderers" are those GOP members in the White House, Congress and the Supreme Court who have supported policies that harm immigrants and working class citizens.

See, Clay! As expected, you DID come up with a winning idea! I love the opossum mom and joey - so cute (although at first glance I thought that pizza rat met an electric fence and was relieved to see him on the branch).

Tent city - no AC in Florida with temperatures in excess of 80F or 26C - add rain and humidity and I would say the Florida 911 system will have lots of calls for people collapsing from heat heat-related issues. But hey - they are illegals, rapists, criminals, murders, legal American citizens, legal naturalized citizens, fought in American wars for America, legal immigrants awaiting due process of their legal immigration cases….Check in time according to governor “wedgy-white boots (hurricane Ian), three-fingers licking chocolate pudding (thank you susie wiles)” is now

Alligator Auschwitz is a better term, as this is NOT a prison but a camp for illegally processing people some people don't like.

Astrodome - sits empty and unused because while it is owned by Harris County and run by The Harris County Sports & Convention Corporation, the Houston Texans (NRG Stadium) and the Houston LiveStock Show & Rodeo don't want any events that might conflict with their events.

BTW, does anyone have any idea was was on the site before. I'll believe a lot of things, but I don't believe anyone can build a tent city in a swamp in a couple days.

(I think everyone knows how hard it is to do anything in a swamp.)

It's an abandoned airport. Used to be the Dade-Collier Training Airport. They built their concentration camp on the abandoned runway.

'Alligator Alcatraz' airstrip history in South Florida https://share.google/Enhq5GdIN7oyLmCC9 no pay wall, Palm Post article, history of the site (and others that were considered for a huge jetport). Made me sad, because it mentions all people, including some former governors, who fought to stop developers from killing the Everglades. Florida used to have decent legislators, governors, environmental activists who got the people on their side... I grew up here, and remember Governor Graham and when Friends of the Everglades was formed.
