Who’d a thunk the beauty pageant and game show host would be hopelessly lost in the Office of the President

We are now at war. MSNBC is now saying that US has bombed Iran NOW.

Maybe, maybe not. Who knows with dimwit Donald running things?

I saw that on MSNBC too last night when I turned on the TV yesterday evening. No one is happy with this. It was the very last thing we needed. I'm not happy with Bibi either for starting this mess or the genocide in Gaza. I am Jewish, but I don't necessarily think Israel is right about the way they have carried out the retaliation.

It's my opinion that Bibi has set Israel up for eventual destruction. The Mideast becomes less and less important to the West every day. Israel is already too big a millstone for Europe, and now it's becoming a huge millstone around the neck for the US. Can Israel go it alone, after ensuring enemies surround it? I don't see how.

And now we know ... yep, Trump really IS THAT STUPID and has just illegally, unconstitutionally, entered us into a war that is likely to last for many years. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ...

Fox is "mostly" pro war. None of the MAGA bloggers/influencers are pro war. MAGA generally is not pro war, they're cursing Trump for even considering it. It's fun listening to some of that.

Trump is hoping Fox can turn it around. I bet they can't. And I bet his poll numbers will be low 30's at best in six weeks (reliable polls take several weeks to run and calculate). Going to be a major disappointment to his billionaire backers if he backs down from war. War = profits.

I wonder if they really don't know that Iranians aren't stupid. Iran saw what happened to Iraq when they tried to comply with Bushit's demands. I'd bet quite a bit that not all that enriched uranium is in that single site.

Clay, at 8:23 PM I received a notification from the NYT that we had bombed Iran.

I generally read your blog in the morning so today it seemed irrelevant which is a shame.

Great movie reference with the Night of the comet - I had forgotten that movie. I think it was a direct to video or TV movie?

The orange one was going to do something because the riot thing was not working out too well and US citizens were getting POd with the masked armed gunmen kidnapping their valued workers who were not murders, rapists and mental asylum residents.....he needed a distraction and what better way to bomb another nation under the pretext of “America First”? He also needed to bump up the MAGA-GOP who have been hiding away from their constituents in their bunkers. As of now the MAGA-GOP will win the midterms and the US Constitution is closer than ever to being suspended. Roll on JD couch f****r as the next occupant to the WH.

It wasn't a TV movie, and I don't think it was direct-to-video. I think it was a low-budget theatrical release that bombed, but later became a cult classic. I could be wrong.

Oh yes on the cult classic!! I had a VHS tape of it and eventually found a digital version of it and I watch it when I need to be reminded of pinball machines! Yes, I'm that old!!!

With the rage rolling out of the MAGA bloggers against getting into another chapter of "Forever War", I'm not all that sure about G-M-P winning anything. Steve Bannon (to name just one) is absolutely screaming NO NO NO NO. MTG is screaming at Trump over bombing Fordow. Massie is unhappy.

This isn't Bushit riding into Iraq and Afghanistan.

Clay is referencing the film "Don't Look Up", hence he says he watched part of it.

As to "Night of the Comet" I wish I remembered more of it. It played non-stop on HBO (which my father had illegally gotten us). I probably saw parts of it 30 times until he was gone and no more HBO. Back then in between the movies there were random comedy show skits. That was how I was introduced to Benny Hill.

I was referring to the ear photo - that is fromthe Night of the Comet. You are correct about the sippy cup movie reference. Also a good movie - weird but good.

Thank you! I couldn't for the life of me figure out the bandage. I was going to do a reverse image search and by the time I got done with the comics I had forgotten.

I've seen Don't Look Up, but I was rewatching it the other night. I thought it might be important to go over a few things again.

Let’s just call a spade a spade. ONLY Congress can declare war according to the US Constitution. In wartime, a President CAN be removed by impeachment from office. So, since dimwit engaged us in war WITHOUT Congressional approval, he could/should/would face impeachment. He took it upon himself to engage us with the intent of ‘staying in power’ because he probably never read the Constitution.

Oh, hell to the NO! I’m declaring a Walmart rollback!
