This toon and blog are fun, would be funnier if it weren't true. Following you around England is fun. Thanks for sharing.

Are you sure those guys aren't related to Senator Susan Collins?

It took me a while to figure out he was singing Dancing Queen, holy cow!!!

Scouse is somewhat familiar to American ears, but I prefer the far more musical northeastern dialect of Newcastle-on-Tyne (where The Animals came from) and Northumbria. Both are better and more comprehensible than Mancusian. It's in the home counties of the south that English has really deteriorated the most. Dick Van Dyke would feel at home.

I love Mac on Get Fuzzy. It is always interesting to try and translate what he's saying. I wish Darby hadn't quit. It has been 10 years since he stopped doing the dailies and 8 years for the Sunday strips.

Great toon and fun blog. Great Natasha, although Tulci also has a Lily Munster thing going on. Sounds like a lovely breakfast. Hope there was blood pudding. In Dublin, we found good fish & chips at Beshoff's. The skate (ray) was excellent.
