I thought Orange County orange was dolt-45 orange these days? Hopefully they can clean the poison out of their water as well as their conservative politics.

It's oil. Generally speaking, drinking oil is a bad idea. Especially given that oil in tap water is either crude oil seepage or oil from machinery.

When I saw Orange County all I could think was which one?? California? Florida? So I googled it. There are 8 states with Orange Counties. Sorry to hear that one of them is having water issues. We keep thinking we can just let all this toxic stuff go into the environment and it will go away like magic.

Orange County, California, part of the Los Angeles metropolitan area; the most well-known county with the name.

Orange County, Florida, containing Orlando

Orange County, Indiana

Orange County, New York, part of the Hudson Valley area

Orange County, North Carolina

Orange County, Texas

Orange County, Vermont

Orange County, Virginia

Yeah, I got there after the initial questioning. It tweaked my curiosity so I googled. The double headed critters and my wondering about Orange Counties definitely gives Simpsons/Springfield vibes. Thirty-four states have cities named Springfield. :-)

Oh, those poor people! I've always thought how horrible it must be to have to deal with dangerous water - what a pain in the ass to try to bathe with bottled water! How the hell do you do that?? My hair is now half way down my back and I can't even imagine trying to wash it with bottled water! I hope that Orange County gets this resolved quickly. Great cartoon - I love all the details for all the critters, including the fishy's sign! LOL!
