My hope and prayer is that normal people, independent people, moderate Republicans, your average white middle class soccer mom, and anyone else who has not consumed the MAGA QAnon lemonade will ruminate about this in the voting booth. They'll think about if they really want four (or more) years of this BullS$%t and having Trump dominate the news cycle, and more representatives like MTG, Gaetz, Boebert etc and then we'll have a nice large landslide for Kamala Harris.

May the RICO (Republican In Claim Only) Party be slammed at the national, state and local levels in 2024, like 2022 and 2020, only so very much more decisively. May they fight internally for the soul of the party and split into 2, 3 or more parties. And may we return to a time when our leaders want to deliver services more than gather likes and clicks.

If the ability to lie is the new test for being POTUS, Trump will swamp Harris.

The media is all in for Trump. That's because Harris is not buying time on traditional media, she's making her buys on streaming media and internet ads that don't put money in CNN's owners pockets. So they're very willing to endlessly repeat Trump lies, and take up Trump lines, like talking about the "Harris Administration". WTF happened to Biden eh? It's just nuts!

The election WILL be affected by the hurricanes, that's certain. Wonder how impressed the MAGA's would be if Biden started throwing paper towels at people? I wonder how much will be left of "The Villages" by this time next week? Milton's track is forecast to strike right over The Villages, the conservative backbone of Florida.

I can tell you this for an absolute fact, I work just around the corner from the CEFMS HQ for the Memphis USACE. That's the Corps of Engineers Financial Management System for the Memphis region US Army Corps of Engineers, if you don't like the acronyms. I came past there at about 6:35 this morning. The parking lot was full, and I'd be they've been there since at least midnight. They start work at eight.

Normally, the Memphis District would not be working on a disaster in Florida thru North Carolina, that's the guys in the South Atlantic Division, not Mississippi River Valley. Obviously, they've been told to help get supplies into the damaged areas. There's no other reason for them to be working on an overtime basis.

Everything that can be done is being done. The Republicans are just lying their asses off.
