Shocking, isn't it? But after what we've seen for years of his craziness, I'm not sure why I'm shocked. I feel almost paralyzed sometimes by it. Not that I want this to happen, but I'm also shocked that no one has 'taken him out' yet.

Why would it be shocking? He said what he was going to do and he did it.

I do not understand people who can't believe Trump would do these things. Of course he would. Anything to satisfy his pathological need to be at the center of everything.

And his urge (compulsion?) to NOT BE WRONG. Has anyone ever heard him say, Sorry, I was wrong???? Guaranteed that if that concept ever passed his lips it would be in the form of Sorry, WE were wrong.

I know, my friend ... just when I think nothing could surprise me anymore ... they go even lower and my jaw drops again. You are kinder than I am ... I fervently wish for his imminent death, whether by an assassins bullet or a heart attack or choking on his Big Mac! The world is endangered by his continued existence.

Not really. It was all planned in P2025 and they had it ready to go. I’d not have been surprised that he’d have signed EOs from the Capitol to the Capital One Arena.

Trump defies judge’s order? LOCK HIM UP. Contempt orders are usually enforced by the AG for DC or the US Atty. (both Trumpers). IF BOTH DECLINE, the Court can appoint a private prosecutor to enforce a contempt order. Worth a shot.

DOGE is definitely demanding that the government contractors hand over their “data.” Hopefully the legal departments will protect them. I guess DOGE couldn’t barge into contractor buildings like they did federal buildings. I will try to stay positive and hope this doesn’t turn into a big clusterf**k. And these morons are going to be the ones aiming our military !!

No, he can't barge into contractors' buildings except his own. And the lawyers for these departments now work for Trump.

Well, government contractors are private companies that have government contracts. They work for themselves. The government does not own the buildings or the employees. But, I suppose in the long run, if they want to keep their government contracts, they will have to please the bosses. But they can enforce communication through the legal department (who work immediately for the contractor, not the government) at least, and spare the employees from being bullied.

My husband works for a military contractor. He is not in the military and he is not a government employee. DOGE has apparently asked for access to all employee info and all contract info with the military, and his company has responded with the legal department edict.

My message was meant as an unofficial warning to all US citizens - DOGE is compromising our military, and NATO, with their behavior, and we should NOT take this lightly.

Obviously, though, everything going on with this administration is a warning.

Why couldn’t they barge in? They flash a badge and who would challenge.

The guidelines to revise all DEIA language in every document if you have a govt grant is stunningly bizarre. Can’t use “man”, “woman” only “male” or “female” or best of all “male dominated” if an org is trying to maintain the grants and stay steady to their bylaws, mission statement & strategic plan. Hours & money & lots of people. Then it’ll be struck down. I hope.

You typically can't barge in without warrants, even with badges. But, these department heads were appointed by Trump. They're handing over the keys to Elon.

They have to be referred to the legal department - no other employees are allowed to have communication with them (although I suppose it depends on the contractor).
