I was hoping and couldn’t wait to see if you would do one on the “blankie”! My husband happened to be sitting next to me when this popped up on my IPad, and he said, “Oh my God, that’s hilarious!” I would add, hysterical! I agree with Deborah—love the thumb sucking—and the blanket labeled “lncompetence”—a true understatement, if there ever was one. The bit about the Coast Guard pilot being fired and rehired is in the category of “you just can’t make this stuff up”! Feels so good to laugh, and I have a feeling more chuckles are coming with these 2 wizards!
I saw that, too. I think Clay meant "candy," but I know he's said that typing continues to be an issue since his stroke and he might still be using the text to talk thing.
I'm glad you are taking time to step out with friends, Clay. Hope the weather is getting better!
Thought of you yesterday, had a scare at my gastro's office with a very high BP reading. Considering I had an unusually high reading at the dentist last month, I called my primary and am seeing her on Monday. Meanwhile, she has me monitoring myself (got a new BP monitor as the only one I had in the house was my Mom's and it's 20 years old). Anything feels off, she wants me to go to urgent care or ER. So, I called my boss, told him I'm taking a couple of vacation days (I'm 7 months from retirement) and today I'm taking a walk in the park, doing some low key housework, avoiding any food that isn't a vegetable and catching up on Substacks.
Simply perfect toon with an amazingly educational blog. I heard a few rumors, now I believe them...but the pilot being fired then rehired, that's a new one on me. Bozos indeed.
Fired the pilot because she forgot her own blankie. Can't make this shit up. It's shit most of us would never imagine in the first place, let alone actually do.
I LOVED Snoopy in my preteen days. One year they had a whole Snoopy collection in the Sears catalog, I think it was. I dreamed of decorating my entire bedroom in Snoopy. Didn't have the money to actually buy any of it, so the dream stayed a dream. But Snoopy lives on. ❤️
Glad you clarified about feeling bad for using Linus for this because my first thought was how could Clay do Linus so dirty?? Peanuts was one of my favorite comics along with some of the tv holiday specials. Hope you had the visit went well.
Hard to see her as an innocent-seeming child, without all of the military accoutrements (although that does look like a holstered pistol at her waist).
I don’t care who wins the pool, just get rid of her! Thumb sucking is a good touch.
Everyone should win that poll (i.e., they should all be fired).

Clay, great as always.
Check the typo in 2nd paragraph, Katie.
I got an email about it. Thank you.

I'm glad you're taking good care of yourself! Keep it up, Sugarkitty!!
Curse you, Auto Correct, and the Red Baron who sent you!!! ✊️

Yet another case in this administration's "blanket incompetence".
Is this a true story about her? My mouth is continually hanging open. I cannot keep up!!
I don't create my subjects.
I heard the story of this fiasco MSNOW last night. LOL! Such a pathetic bunch running our country!
My first cartoon love, too.
An administration of snowflakes, cosplaying their way through life.
Nailed it.

Unfortunately, she’s from SOUTH Dakota, my home state!😩
I thought so when I read North Dakota, and had two thoughts:
1. North Dakota probably doesn't want her.
2. Maybe we could banish her to the Badlands, there to wander for the rest of her days. We'll make sure she has her blankie.
That was my fuck up. I meant South Dakota and wrote North.
Oh, I figured it was a goof. But hey, it gave me an opportunity to riff and to banish Kristy to the Badlands, so it was a happy accident.
She's a grandmother and still needs a blanket and a batterer-boyfriend?
My word for her — after a saketini — Krustass Gnome. 🙊

ooogie, boogie, boogie man!🎶
