Enjoyed the toon and blog, even though I’m not familiar with the movie.

Same here! I've realized, since subscribing to Clay's 'toons, that I haven't seen nearly enough movies or listened to enough music outside my usual genre of tunes. And I'm really glad I've never hit my head hard enough to cause memory problems. But I did attract a lot of weirdos when I used to go to bars back in my heyday! (Sadly, it was usually the guys missing teeth in the front from all the meth). LOL!

Doh. I forgot the music note for today. It was the White Stripes.

Great toon, shows exactly what they'll get if they allow the election of Trump.

Sadly, a LOT of people support the murder of all the people in Palestine who aren't Jews. Why? They don't know, they just blather about terrorism, as if every person in Palestine was a terrorist. And even if they were, they're just responding to terrorist acts supported by the government of Israel. How do you pick between two terrorist groups?

Of course, most Americans don't know anything about Israel, how it's governed or what that government does or supports. Say "right of return" or "right of self determination" and you get a totally blank look as if you were just pulling stuff out of your rear. All they know is "Jews good because WWII, Palestine empty land". The actual history of the place is just utterly unknown to them.

Ignoring MYTHS, what actually happened is that Jews began to disperse from the middle East in 586 BCE after the Babylonians conquered Judah and deported some Jews into slavery. The diaspora continued to grow after Rome destroyed Jerusalem in 70 AD. Here's another fact - they didn't all leave. Many just sucked it up and stayed where they were. When the Muslims conquered, they had pretty much lost the Jewish identity, and became Muslim. Their Zionist relatives declared them all "unpersons" and declared Palestine to be "a land without a people" after WWII and the establishment of Israel as a nation.

That's shocking to many people, but is supported by genetic analysis of the people in the region, Jews and Palestine natives alike. Look it up.

I'm damned if I can understand what value the US gets from supporting either side in this religious feud between relatives.
