Conservatives are howling that Vice President Kamala Harris’ plans are communist and socialist (they think they’re the same thing). Donald Trump has been calling her “Comrade Kamala” and on that cue, Elon Musk posted a doctored image (or maybe AI) of Harris in a communist get-up of some sort. You’d think the richest guy in the world would be too busy to troll on social media but you’d be wrong.
If price controls and giving money to first-time home buyers are socialist, then so is making the government pay for In Vitro Fertilization. Also, it’s weird to call someone else “comrade” when you’re Putin’s puppet.
Trump has backed himself into a corner on abortion and it’s hurting his campaign. It’s because of Trump that Roe v. Wade was overturned and one minute he’s against a six-week ban, the next minute he promotes a 15-week ban, then he’s all for a six-week ban, and now he’s saying if returned to the White House (sic), that he’ll force the government or private insurance companies to pay for IVF treatments.
Hardline fundamentalist Christian Republican zealots are not for IVF. They’re fine with voting for a fascist dictator who’s promising to deport all his political enemies, but they may draw the line at IVF.
Trump’s socialist plan for forcing the government to pay for IVF treatments is about as solid as his promise in 2016 of replacing Obamacare with “something better.” How can you be against the Affordable Care Act but for free IVF treatments? And how exactly will Trump make that happen?
We’re going to be able to put Trump’s free IVF plan on the shelf next to replacing Obamacare with something better and Mexico paying for his racist border wall.
I seriously doubt Trump even knows what “IVF” stands for. Maybe Incredible Vivacious Females. Who knows?
Senator Tom Cotton said he doesn’t know of any Republican senators who oppose IVF. Someone should introduce him to the Republican senator who wrote an intro to an anti-IVF piece published by the Heritage Foundation (the same place putting together Project 2025). What is that anti-IVF senator’s name? Oh, yeah. JD Vance. Maybe you’ve heard of him. He’s also in favor of a national abortion ban, which he “thinks” Trump would veto if a bill for it came across his desk.
But JD is not the only senator who opposes IVF as 46 other Republican senators, including Tom Cotton, voted against a bill last June that would have expanded IVF treatments. Maybe they’re just waiting for Trump to return to the White House to vote for it so they can give him the credit…like they did when they voted against an immigration bill they helped write.
If my tax dollars are going to pay for IVF treatments, then I want them to also go to Planned Parenthood. I want tax money to pay for abortions for rape victims and when pregnancies threaten the mother’s life.
If Trump is returned to the presidency (sic), I’ll bet he’ll never talk about IVF ever again. Who believes Trump will make free IVF treatments a priority over giving himself another tax cut?
Trump says if returned to the Oval Office (sic), he’ll be “great for women’s reproductive rights.” He’s full of shit.
What contains more poop, Trump’s promises or Trump’s diaper?

In the debate, Kamala needs to put DonOLD on defense. Is he pro IVF? Is he pro 6 week ban? Yes or no. Yes or no. And get under his skin, laugh off his 4 year's old childish nicknames and taunting and then turn to the camera and ask "Do you really want four more years of this type of behavior from the President of the United States?"
We liberals are far too timid - and yes, reactionary - to call out the Repugnants for what they are really standing for about women's healthcare. The plain truth is they are treating women like cows in an Animal Husbandry 4H curriculum. But even our left-ish female politicians are not saying this! WHY NOT? They need to get FAR more direct to force more attention to women's health issues. We must not just use the 'abortion' word in our arguments, because this passively allows Repugnants to frame the debate in their terms. We gotta get WAY out in front of the debate and show their policies for what they Really Are.
