Good toon and blog, Clay. So glad your neurologist thought things were good with your brain. So sorry you had to go through all of that. Enjoy your beer. You deserve it.
My father had a massive stroke back in 1998, a result of a fall from a ladder; he was 74. The scan showed dead areas the size of a golf ball in each frontal lobe. Frightening to look at. But with therapy and Mom and I paying attention to him, he did pretty well until age, and the damage from small, nearly invisible strokes finally took it's toll a couple of years before he died in 2011. He died at 87, so he had a good run. But on his worst days before then, he was more coherent, more in tune with reality than the creature sitting in the White House with the nuclear codes and a Cabinet, and a Congress, full of greedy grifters who take from us and keep him going. That is the most terrifying thing about him.
I saw the title and was Wait, what??? I didn't see the connection. I think even though she has been a staunch supporter she may be on thin ice since there are so many other things going wrong, a lot of court cases being dismissed, the reflecting pool, the helipad, elections, his pet acting AG hoping to be accepted, oh, and bombing everything and using up the arsenal before beefing up production.
Good to hear the neurologist visit went well and hope the medication helps with the shoulder soon.
It's just Trump. His brain never got out of middle school. His goto, every time, is insulting someone's disability or their appearance.
He's a child, literally. That's why he's so impressed with fake "trophies". If I wanted Trump to respect me, and he was going to be in my office, I'd run to the trophy shop and have them make up about 100 trophies with meaningless names awarded to me. He'd be very impressed by that. It's a wonder the UN hasn't figured that out and votes to send him a new meaningless trophy every week, for bigliest peacemaker, most handsome diplomat, greatest President ever, saviour of Israel, master of oil, and so forth. He'd start loving them.
Great blog, Clay, and congrats on the medical progress. While we wait for the bullshit to end, at least you can enjoy a few sips of Guinness now and then.
If I weren't so mad about the the price that we tax payers are footing for that no-bid contract, I'd find it funny that a contractor stiffed him on one of his vanity projects. After he's gone I will avoid all federal buildings that were constructed during his regime. The next sane president should issue an executive order demolishing every project he approved of outside of safe and sound established protocols, with the rationale that doing the demolitions is because of public safety. It'll be karmic justice for all the things that he tried to erase and be just like what happened in old times when some pharaohs and kings erased the physical histories of their predecessors. He's tried to do that to Obama and it hasn't worked because Barack lives rent-free in the cavernous holes of his cranium. Every contractor who got a job because of their relationship with the Toddler Turd instead of going through the normal competitive bid process with industry standards specs should be blacklisted from getting any kind of public contract forever!
Enjoy that Guinness--you more than deserve it!! Glad you had such a good report!
As for Pirro, they always caution: "be careful what you wish for." If she thought that her job as US Attorney for DC wasn't subject to Trump's whims, insults, and anger, she is incredibly naive, and not in a good way. I guess the Cabernet could ease some pain in the short term. I still say her days are numbered. I give it a "flat-chested two."
Glad to hear you're allowed to fly again! Maybe do a short hop somewhere to visit some friends? Enjoy your Guinness, maybe make it a once a week treat at first - that would be in moderation and you could see how / if it affects your BP.
I do hope Mr. Hearn does some of the things on your "DO IT" list. I don't know if Norm Eisen represented him pro bono or not, but he should at least go after costs & fees and something to make up for the mental & emotional upheaval he must have been going through worrying about being thrown in prison for 10 years.
Great toon and blog today, Clay. And it's great to hear that your Neuro appt went well! That first Guinness will taste like Heaven, I'm sure! :) Btw, not sure when you plan your trip to CA, but you might want to wait until the smoke and heat clear up a bit. It's bad in many parts of our great state right now. But if you have to come soon, enjoy it anyway - I'm sure you're so antsy to get back to traveling, so you might not even mind the air! :)
Good toon, good blog, good that your brain is doing well.
Trump is like a baby. His idea is the Justice Dept should simply make up charges over and over so the people they are charging have to spend money defending themselves constantly. And why would he not think that? He's been abusing the legal system in that exact fashion for decades, why would it be different now?
Baby dumbass in charge. That ought to be on his card.
All these folks in 47's administration who have law degrees, may not be admitted to any bar after 2029. Stars for today's toon & blog. That's such a good report from your neurologist. Perhaps you could take a train to California: three days and three beers.
Well I think you're a 10 even though you're flat-chested😁. I'm so happy that you are doing well. Otherwise, we would've been mournful Peeze-heads wearing clothes that had sad Pizza Rat expressions (unless your estate banned us from modifying Peezey). Suggestion: have a set of Peezey shirts or buttons available in your on-line store that cover the gamut of expressions: Peezey happy, Peezey sad, Peezey stoic, Peezey rolling his eyes, Peezey shocked, Peezey pissed off, Lusty Peezey, cheeky Peezey, annoyed Peezey, etc... That way we can have Peezey help us broadcast we're we are at emotional instead of using words. Also, if you haven't already done so, see if you can copyright Peezey emojis before someone rips you off.
It's all the more amazing how quickly and how well you have regained your skills, despite having several strokes. It's a testament to your determination to not just survive, but to also thrive. With all the MAGAts continuing to give you tons of political cartoon fodder with their corrupt and inept actions, living well is the best revenge. I'm gonna make myself an ice-cold non-alcoholic Guinness & soy milkshake this evening to celebrate your medical update. I can't handle Guinness straight (or any beer, except ginger-beer) because my tastebuds don't like bitter. In my childhood, the adults in my life would make Guinness milkshakes with whole milk, sugar and a raw egg as our version of egg-nog at Christmas. We kids would get a small juice glass to taste. My cholesterol, A1C and B.P. levels can't handle that nutrient rich drink much these days, although I remember those Guinness-flavored egg-nogs as being soooo goood. Cheers Clay!!

Brains are adaptable. If one neuron stops working, the brain will find another pathway for the same signals to travel.
Depends on the amount of damage and the part of the brain affected. And the person, and the people around him, as well.
Very true.
They definitely have not finished their traveling because they have not gotten where they need to be yet.
I bet when Pirro went to that meeting, she brought boxes of wine along with the boxes of evidence to defend herself.
Had 'em standing by in her ride....
Glad you're doing better.
Would love to see a scan of the snake's brain.

His brain? They'd have to map the entire black hole in back of his eyes and ask the question: "Is there life in there?"
“Hello … is anybody in there?”

Guinness, good choice.

"Insulting his reputation as a developer."
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
WHAT reputation???
Great blog, Clay, and congrats on the medical progress. While we wait for the bullshit to end, at least you can enjoy a few sips of Guinness now and then.
His reputation consists mainly of stiffing his contractors.....
Exactly. It's hard to insult a reputation which is already an insult.

Great work and good news, as for the Guinness, DO IT!

Actually, it's going to be a hop to California.
Nothing like a little coast to coast jaunt to put your toe in the water. You go, Clay, and have a hell of a good time. You've earned it.

It's a convention, and the dates are already set.
Travel safe and have a great time, whenever you go 😊 we'll all hope that CA gets some good rain soon.
Clay — definitely go for the Guinness — but also the Guinness Zero is surprisingly good.
“Pyro” flamed out…
So sad… to see such an incompetent screeching bombastic bimbo get Trumphuked …
So sad…
I’m crying alligator tears … (being down heah in south Crackerlina).
Enjoy California — my home sweet home.
I've talked about the Guinness Zeros a few times on the blog.
Yup… almost mother’s milk … but the regular Guinness is the best!
Good toon, good blog, good that your brain is doing well.
