Things just got weirder.
Could things get even weirder for a presidential campaign when the guy at the top of the ticket paints himself orange, talks about dating his daughter, wears a bleached ferret carcass on his head, thinks all Black people look alike, claims his crowd of bigots surpassed the attendance of MLK’s “I Have A Dream” speech, references Hanibal Lecter while his running mate is a Mountain Dew-swilling mascara-wearing couch fucker who Googles dolphin porn? Yes, it can get weirder, and we may just be getting started.
Two photos, TWO, have been discovered of JD Vance, the aforementioned couch fucker, in drag. What?
JD Vance attended a Halloween party in drag while he was a student at Yale. This is innocent harmless behavior and usually, the only observation to be made from it is that he’s not very good at it and would make one ugly girl. I’m sure when Vance was set up on blind dates, he was described beforehand as having a nice personality.
Most people shouldn’t be too scrutinized for pics from their college days. Somewhere, there’s a photo of me from back then wearing nothing but a guitar. Dressing in drag is harmless and nobody should be villainized for it, whether it’s from the past or present, but we’re going to make an exception for JD because he’s a gay-bashing trans-trashing women-hating piece of crap.
First, the funniest thing about this is that the images are trending on Xitter with the hashtag #SofaLoren. that’s gold.
JD is a staunch opponent of LGBTQ+ rights. He’s against gender-affirming care and transgender rights. He’s labled people who opposed Florida’s “Don’t Say Gay” legislation as “groomers.”
Vance introduced the so-called Protect Children’s Innocence Act, which seeks to criminalize gender-affirming care for minors and erase LGBTQ+ identities from the U.S. census. Vance has also introduced the Passport Sanity Act, which aims to ban the use of “X” gender markers on U.S. passports.
Vance had a trans classmate at Yale he considered a close friend, but ditched the friend when he entered politics.
Demi Lovato posted on Instagram, “Introducing Anitta Couch!” Drag queen and climate activist Pattie Gonia wrote, “Sashay the fuck away, JD.” Teacher and content creator Flint Del Sol said, “If he was more open to learning from our community we could have helped with that wig.”
GLAAD President and CEO Kate Sarah Ellis said, “Vance’s anti-LGBTQ rhetoric, much of it rooted in the lie that queer adults who perform in drag—and all queer adults—are somehow dangerous, is disgusting and wildly out of touch with Americans’ values. Voters by and large reject campaign tactics rooted in anti-LGBTQ hate, and Americans support equality for LGBTQ people.”
Vance and Trump disagree and believe attacking women and LGBTQ people is a winning strategy, from howling about tampons in boys’ restrooms to accusing a female boxer of being a man.
The big deal here isn’t that Vance dressed in drag while in college, it’s that he’s a hypocrite….and really weird.

If this photo is of Vance at Yale, he wasn't a "college student." He was a law student -- older and typically more sedate. Now Yale isn't your average law school, and in the Clarence Thomas days the students ran a porn film festival (I'm not joking), but this would have been outside the usual run of hijinks.
Exactly right. If you want to wear makeup the same way you would wear a ski-mask, fine. If you want to wear dresses and wigs, fine. Just don't go around vilifying other people's lifestyle or orientation while you do it!
