If these billionaires are afraid of him, what does that say for the rest of us? We are so screwed.

A moral coward is the worst coward of all. Our billionaires seem to be moral cowards, afraid to call out an unfit old man who is getting more unfit every day.

They're very brave in bothsidesism though. Very very brave!

It really makes me sad and angry that Bezos can't do the right thing. What chickenshit he is. Your cartoon is perfect! I almost want to get a WaPo subscription just so that I can cancel it with a scathing letter to him!

If you do subscribe there are a lot of self help and advice columns.

I am taking a break from political news until 11/6. I gave up Wapo almost a year ago but occasionally read the NYT.

My main sources are the Guardian and Raw Story. 😉

Depending on your library you may be able to access major newspapers through them. You have to look through their digital offerings. I am able to read articles in the NYTimes this way without subscribing.

I think we should subscribe to news outlets.

I was a loyal subscriber to newspapers until they were all bought up by giant media companies owned by billionaires. I was even a subscriber when I was a kid in college.

Newspapers fell apart since the 90's. After like 35 or 40 years of ALWAYS being subscribed, the papers I'd loyally read forever just fell apart. I tried subscribing to Salon when it first came out, which was fine until they started publishing absolute lies and crap by David Horowitz.

News is fine, editorials are OK - IF THEY AREN'T LYING THROUGH THEIR TEETH! Facts are not opinions. You don't get to just chuck them in the trash because you don't like someone or their ideas.

Anyone can make a mistake. But Horowitz WAS a mistake. What a mess.

In fairness to the NYT, they did call him unfit when they endorsed Harris: https://www.politico.com/news/2024/09/30/new-york-times-kamala-harris-endorsement-00181639
