BAAAAAAAD Deflections

That fish has seen some things

Pam Bondi's deflection last week during her congressional testimony was just too good for me to let it go with just one cartoon.

In case you don't remember (and if you are a MAGAt, you don't), when Representative Jerry Nadler asked the Attorney General how many of Epstein's billionaire co-conspirators she has indicted so far, she deflected by talking about the Dow, boasting for Donald Trump that it was over 50,000 (dollars).

It wasn't after the hearing that people started making fun of Bondi for this. Jerry Nadler started laughing at her before she could finish her sentence. It's being made fun of in podcasts, cartoons, memes, and has even been auto-tuned on TikTok. Why should all the other satirists have all the fun?

So while I was working on something else this morning, this hit me, and I kind of went to town on it…like the man in the cartoon probably went to town on that sheep.

The Advance is holding a small event in about 30 minutes in a coffee shop, and I would like to attend, so this is all the blog you are going to get today. I’ll scribble some extra-long nonsense and add a few extra rants throughout the week to make up for it.

It's nothing else, you guys can fill the comments with talk about how much therapy the fish is going to need by the time I retire.
