Donald Trump is an orange piece of shit

As you know by now, Donald Trump unleashed a garbage post about Rob Reiner hours after his death. He basically blamed the so-called Trump Derangement Syndrome for his death, insinuating that he would still be alive if he were a member of the MAGA movement.

Yesterday, he doubled down. Referring to himself in the third person inside the Oval Office, Trump said, “He was a deranged person as far as Trump is concerned. He said, he liked, he knew it was false. In fact, it’s the exact opposite, that I was a friend of Russia, controlled by Russia. You know, it was the Russia hoax. He was one of the people behind it.”

“I think he hurt himself in career-wise. He became like a deranged person. Trump Derangement Syndrome,” Trump said. “So I was not a fan of Rob Reiner at all, in any way, shape, or form. I thought he was very bad for our country.”

Remember during Trump's first term, and everyone would talk about how unpresidential he was? It's not that we need him to be presidential; we need him to be human.

This morning on CNN, Rahm Emanuel was talking to Wolf Blitzer about this topic, and he said there is something “off-kilter” about Trump. We passed “off-kilter” long before Trump's first term ended.

Trump is so off-kilter that we don't even pause anymore to observe that he's talking about himself in the third person.

There have been times in my life when someone has died that I was not fond of or not friends with at all. When that kind of stuff happens, you keep your mouth shut. You don't need to let everybody know where you stand on the person. You don't have to make it about yourself. People are grieving, many of whom could be your friends or mutual acquaintances, so it's best for you to let it go. That's at least a human thing to do. As we all know by now, Donald Trump is not a human being. Donald Trump is a piece of shit. He's not alone.

Yesterday, dozens of MAGAts commented on my cartoon about Rob Reiner that didn't involve Donald Trump at all, but felt the need to come on to my post to tell me that Rob Reiner was not going to Heaven. They couldn't just let the cartoon trope be a trope.

More MAGAts showed up today to comment on this cartoon. A lot of them compared Reiner's death to that of Charlie Kirk’s. A lot of them claimed that we celebrated Kirk's death and rejoiced. That's not true. We just refused to mourn the passing of a hate-mongering racist who did everything he could to divide this nation.

After Kirk was assassinated, Rob Reiner condemned it and said the attack “should never happen to anybody.”

Trump and the White House went after people who were critical of Charlie Kirk after his assassination and flagged them online. People were threatened for being critical of Charlie Kirk, with many losing their jobs. I received death threats for my cartoons about Charlie Kirk, so I know what I'm talking about here.

I believe Donald Trump is going to continue on his downward spiral. Even Republicans are becoming repulsed by the man. Hopefully, in 2026, so will the voters.

Voting Republicans out of office next year is the least we could do for Rob.
