Not many (read that any) successful Communist nations. Numerous successful Socialists ones with higher standards of living and citizen satisfaction ratings than the U.S. Huh ....
Okay, too bizarre, last night Southern Man was playing and hubby went on about that and Sweet Home Alabama and now your reference about the same thing.
Even without knowing about the other cartoon, I knew this cartoon is GOLD. 😁🏆 I did enjoy the explanation, as well as the comments from the other post that you screencapped.
Thank you, love your work! Was not aware of the other cartoonist, but pretty interesting and the muusical examples were also great. Love your excellent blood pressure numbers from a day or 2 ago. You are doing wonderfully well!
Great work, Clay! Speaking of communism (to Magats it is the same as socialism so using their reasoning here)...something interesting from Miles Taylor today: https://www.defiance.news/p/donald-trump-is-a-communist I don't think we should honor Trump by calling his regime's ideology Trumpism, but something like faschocommunism. Other ideas are welcome!
I find it fascinating to read the words of "former Republicans" and "Conservatives" who are now screaming of the dangers of Trumpism/authoritarianism/fascism when they, for decades, nurtured the seeds of hate and destruction that fed this monstrous regime. Makes me think of fossil fuel executives and cigarette addicts demanding clean air regulations after the damage has been done, while lobbying to loosen regulations on the vaping and nuclear energy industries.

And we should also ask historians how trickle-down economics has fared throughout history.
Vietnam has been doing pretty well. So has China, though they are more of a state capitalism than communism at this point.

Nice you got an honorable mention!
Think we’re all about ready for a big bowl of nuts! Nuts it is!

Tonic, lime, & maybe a little bit of gin erupted from my nostrils when I read TokenFudd's comment.

Brilliant toon and blog.
Did you mean a goose stepping NAZI?
Either one works
Another good put down, Clay.

This helps complete the commentary on Go Comics about the Clay Jones stalkers..LOL -
The commenter was Unclesnipe replying to TokenFudd in the above comment
He is the master at taunting them. He lives rent free in all of their tiny minds.
Any comment I have that will annoy them, that isn't directly about a comic, I make there for
maximum effect.
I may have to go back and check in on Go Comics now and then. Thanks Clay, enjoy your stalkers.
I take it the professional troll has changed his name again?
not sure as I haven't followed this whole conversation. It was interesting seeing comments on a different platform.
