Trump Loyalty Test
Donald Trump demands loyalty while giving none
The only real leverage Iran has over Donald Trump is closing off the Strait of Hormuz from oil shipments, thus preventing 20% of the world's oil from reaching the rest of the planet, which is driving up oil prices, which will be disastrous for Trump in this year's midterm elections.
This is a problem Donald Trump did not take into consideration before joining Israel in attacking Iran.
One solution Trump has come up with for this problem is to ask for help from our allies and even China. Despite claiming that other nations were quickly sending ships to help, everyone has refused.
Of course, after every nation said no, Donald Trump says that he doesn't need their help. This is like a child asking to come to your birthday party and then saying he never wanted to come to your stinking party anyway after you inform him that he's not invited. Maybe if Donald Trump held his breath, our allies would rush to help end Iran's oil blockade.
German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said, “The United States and Israel did not consult us before this war. There was never a joint decision regarding Iran. Therefore, the question of how Germany will contribute militarily does not arise. We will not.
Trump is asking our allies to participate in a war that they did not ask for, or were consulted on. They had no say in the matter. And now Trump wants their military help? Being from Queens, Donald Trump should understand the term “Fuhgeddaboudit.”
Donald Trump has invoked Article 5, which is a requirement for every member of NATO to defend any other member that is attacked. Angry that NATO is not rushing to help Trump fight Iran, Trump said, “For 40 years, we’re protecting you, and you don’t want to get involved.”
But the thing is, that's not how NATO works, which is something the president of the United States should understand. Despite the claims by Trump, Hegseth, and other idiot Republicans, Iran did not start this war. Iran did not attack the United States. The United States, along with Israel, attacked Iran. This is a chosen war. If Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu had not started this war three weeks ago, there wouldn't be a war right now. They would still be at the negotiation table over nuclear enrichment.
And by the way, the only time Article 5 came into effect was after 911, when NATO came to the defense of the United States. The history of that is way too recent for Donald Trump to ignore it.
And it takes a lot of gall to ask for someone's help after you spent the past year and a half bullying them. Donald Trump has bullied Ukraine, which Europe supports. Trump threatened to take Greenland from Denmark, which our European allies detested. And, he hit all of them with tariffs. He has treated our friends like shit while cuddling up to dictators like Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong-un.
Now, Trump is crying that our allies are not loyal. Donald Trump has always demanded loyalty while giving none. But even mob bosses exchange loyalty, and understand it's not a one-way street. If someone is loyal to you, you are required to be loyal to them in exchange.
But Donald Trump has never been loyal in his life, and if you don't believe me, ask any of his three wives.
New heating/cooling unit: After over a month of waiting, my new heating/cooling unit is here.
The last unit was much older and basic. It was just a couple of dials. This one actually comes with a remote. I had to move my desk further down the wall from it because the panel on the last one was on the right, and this one's on the left, which is the side my desk is on. That meant I had to move more shit around. You may not think that's a big deal, but it is when one of your arms is still a little bit paralyzed. Fortunately, Leon, the maintenance guy, helped me with that.
The Daily Kos (which is a client) sent me a box of peanut brittle for Christmas, and I gave that to Leon today. A diabetic can't eat peanut brittle. Now that I think of it, I should've given him some of those potato chips I wrote about a couple of days ago. I think I'll snag him in the hallway and give him some next time I see him.
Creative note: I didn't know what time Leon would get here this morning or how much time it would take to put in the air unit. So I drew a cartoon on Sunday, which is my usual day off post-stroke, just in case I needed to take today off. But Leon got here around 11:30, and installing the unit only took about an hour. While waiting for Leon, I thought of this idea and decided that if I had time, I would draw it. It was simple enough, and I liked the idea.
After the unit was installed, I took the city bus to my local pharmacy to pick up a prescription and return home, which took about an hour. I had some lunch, and then I started on the cartoon, even though it was getting late in the day.

All support is appreciated.
Signed prints and books: I cannot take orders for signed prints or for my books at this time. So please do not send me money or place orders for them until further notice. Because of the stroke, it is an ordeal for me to get to the post office, so we’re gonna hold up until I’m fully capable of doing so. Thank you for your understanding.
Merch: Did you know there’s a Claytoonz store? My cartoons are printed on mugs, clothing, caps, and even a Peezy T-shirt. If you ever want a specific cartoon on some merch, let me know, and I’ll add it.

Obviously das Trumphuk has no loyalty…. ‘Cause he’s “royalty”…
What can’t we understand— he’s king of all the land…
And if you please, he’s the lord of all the seas…
Or as the Beatles wrote — “…come feel his disease”.
Come together right now… over me?
Donnie lad, you with no class! nobody is coming to save your ass!
When you are the king you don't owe anyone any loyalty. Didn't they teach you that in "How To Be a Good Serf" in school?
