Great toon! Love Trump’s extra long, extra curly red tie and your clever pick to lead DNI!

The QAnon Shaman is easily as qualified as Bill Pulte to be head of DNI, paranoia aside!

This administration makes it a point to nominate the most unqualified, incompetent, or corrupt people to fill department positions; if they are “acting,” they are dispensable, don’t need to be confirmed, and are more easily fired.

Interestingly, this choice seems to even be rattling some Republicans.

I wish that this was farther outside of the realm of possibility.

Yesterday (Tuesday, 6/2/26) I wondered if the announcement about the slush fund was just a sop to members of the GOP in the states that had primaries.

Chandler or whatever Qanon Shaman’s name is, doesn’t need the slush fund money - he’s suing the government for - (pinkie to lip) - ONE TRILLION DOLLARS!

Pulte has been disowned by all the members of the Pulte family, which was never even close to the top within the home building arena. His resume consists of a few rundown trailer parks in Florida.

So he has a lot in common with the orange-a-tang.

Apparently, the IRS immunity is still a thing.

Good toon Clay, I expect we'll see more from "The Shaman" soon enough. And Pulte is nothing but a toady. How do these people ever expect to get any kind of work after this? They're going to be Linda Tripp, whining into obscurity and saying they were "promised".

But you made a bit of a mistake there, one that's being repeated over and over in the media.

This is not "no IRS investigations", go read it. The language is much broader and a lawyer could most certainly claim it means "no investigation of Trump or his children or the Trump Organization shall ever happen now or in the future about claims made before this date no matter what by any part of the federal law enforcement apparatus".

The initial signals from the administration are that it intends to pursue the Acting Attorney General’s order purporting to provide an extraordinarily broad release of any and all claims—including tax audits—the government had or could have against the President and his affiliates for conduct preceding the agreement. This could eliminate substantial tax liability for the President, including a long-running audit with potentially over $100 million in dispute.

From slush fund to proposing a totally inept and inapt nominee for the DNI Donnie J. Trumphuk is taking the presidency deep into the sewer. Nominating Todd Blanche as Attorney General adds to the insanity.

The stench.

The stench.

The stench.

Great work, although so very depressing. Who knew this could ever happen here.

Thank you for a hearty chuckle before going to sleep tonight.
