Roughs, Volume 256
Ding-Dong! Roughs are here!
This batch is heavy with local cartoons, mostly drawn for the FXBG Advance.
This was drawn for the Advance on July 11. We didn’t use it.
This was also drawn on July 11 for the Advance, and we did use it, but before it was selected, I drew…
…this for the issue, and…
…and I drew this.
This was drawn on July 11, and we used it.
This was drawn on July 22 for The Boca Raton Tribune, which is starting to love me.
This was drawn on July 24. I didn’t use it because I didn’t think it worked.
This was drawn on July 25, but I went with something else. Some ideas seem great at first, but then you think of something so much better. So this was a warm-up idea.
This was drawn for the Advance on July 26. Check it out. I’m very glad we covered this subject.
This is from July 27, and it grew up to become a real cartoon a few days later.
This was drawn on July 28.
And I tried it twice, and still didn’t use it. But I found something better to do with Ghislaine Maxwell.
This was drawn on August 1 for the Advance. This reminds me that I forgot to put mustard in my Sloppy Joes tonight.
This was drawn on July 30, and I turned it into something good on August 3. It really confused MAGAts on Facebook (143 comments) and GoComics (118 comments, so far), who are all like, “Why are prices going up because of Trump tariffs? I don’t get it. It’s not like tariffs are taxes.”
Which of these are your favorites?

I like them all. I’m always partial to the Washington Monument 😂
All good. Still like the beggars.
