Replacement Christmas
A brown baby Christmas would be a Republican nightmare
The Great Replacement Theory is a conspiracy theory pushed by white nationalists and Fox News (I know. redundant) that White people are being replaced by non-white people. This is one reason Republicans are so opposed to immigration, and not just illegal immigration, but legal. You've heard Donald Trump complaining about people from so-called shithole countries coming here and how he wants more people from places like Norway and Denmark.
If we could just get more people coming here from Crackerland, Donald Trump would be ecstatic.
The great replacement theory is mainstream with Republicans. A May 2022 poll by Yahoo! News and YouGov revealed 61 percent of people who voted for Trump in 2020 believe that “a group of people in this country are trying to replace native-born Americans with immigrants and people of color who share their political views.”
Of course, there isn't really an effort to replace white people in this country with non-whites. It's stupid, which is what racists come up with, stupid shit. Even if it were true, it doesn't concern me. Maybe I'm a stupid White person for not being afraid of being in the minority. I guess the only thing I should be afraid of is that we might be treated the same way we treated them. Honestly, I am not worried about that happening at all because I believe non-white people have learned from our mistakes and will be much more open to living in a diverse society than we have been.
If anything, the great replacement theory proves that we do need more people here who share liberal views. Or at the very least, have viewpoints that are based on facts.
Republicans are quicker to believe bullshit than Democrats are. You can't have a political conversation or a debate with a Republican without them lying to you within the first 10 seconds.
Republicans believe in bullshit, like Trump won in 2020, or that there is a war on Christmas.
If we are waging a war on Christmas, then we are losing. Christmas is everywhere. Christmas commercials start before Halloween gets here, and they'll probably keep going well until January.
Maybe for Christmas, Republicans will get some brand new conspiracy theories. They should be tired of playing with their old ones by now.
I am taking tomorrow off, so you probably will not get a new cartoon until Friday afternoon or Saturday. But since I'm not doing anything tomorrow except watching Christmas movies and eating Chinese food that's diabetic safe, what Christmas movies should I watch?
I used to watch A Christmas Story every year, usually not in one sitting, but if you leave TBS on, you will eventually see the entire thing. But I'm tired of that movie. I think the movie to watch every single year should be Elf, which I think is a brilliant film. I will probably also watch The Grinch and Home Alone. KEVIN!!!
What Christmas movies will you be watching?
Politico: I made Politico’s end-of-year round-up, which I think is a little impressive since they only used my work four times in 2025, which is less than half the number of cartoons they used of mine in 2024. Those two racist nutjob hacks from Townhall make it nearly every week. Michael Ramirez, who doesn't know how to write a political cartoon, has two in the publication nearly every week.
Ann’s Substack: I received about 50 free followers yesterday that were directed from Ann Telnaes’ Substack. I am assuming that someone posted a link to my Substack in her comments. If someone did that, thank you. And thank you to Ann as well for the recommendation. She is a powerful force in the cartooning world, and she rocks.
To everyone who celebrates, observes, or at least recognizes, have a merry Christmas. I'm going to relax. I'm kind of tired.

Signed prints and books: I cannot take orders for signed prints or for my books at this time. So please do not send me money or place orders for them until further notice. Because of the stroke, it is an ordeal for me to get to the post office, so we’re gonna hold up until I’m fully capable of doing so. Thank you for your understanding.
Merch: Did you know there’s a Claytoonz store? My cartoons are printed on mugs, clothing, caps, and even a Peezy T-shirt. If you ever want a specific cartoon on some merch, let me know, and I’ll add it.

Muppet Christmas Carol, hands down. I have sometimes watched that one several times in a row. Not sure if it's the best version of A Christmas Carol ever made, but it's my favorite. Elf is my other favorite.
One more old favorite is Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. Apart from Santa being kind of a jackass to Rudolph, I enjoy it. I think part of me related to the Island of Misfit Toys.
Have a great Christmas, Clay! ☃️🎄✨️
On point, as usual!! And thanks for the link to the Politico story. I checked them all out. Some other great minds out there. It was kind of depressing, though, reliving everything from the last year.
