I wish you could send some of that snow/water to the west coast. We haven't had rain and this is our "rainy" season. Instead we are getting 40 mph winds and warnings about possible power shutdowns to prevent fires. Sigh
I don't know where in CA you are but I'm about 45 minutes north of San Luis Obispo and it's dry as a bone here. Thankfully the Sierras are getting snow which we will need for summer water. The mornings are cold but the afternoons have been in the mid-60s.
I'm your neighbor down in Ventura County. Pacific Palisades is a short drive down the coast and the Eaton fire is about a half hour drive east, Kenneth fire is just over the hills. As you know we can't take drought and high winds lightly and the ignorance on display by Trump and his minions is galling.
Off topic, but you can't comment on GoComics anymore. Clay, or someone else. Can you explain the gaslighting going on in today's Henry Payne cartoon? Speaking of gaslighting, the trumper cartoonists have a large supply of gas.
It's a whine about the NA wanting the documents back from Trump.
Plus, of course, the usual projection of "if we did it others did it much worse so it's ok that we did it and anyhow we didn't do it even though we did and you have pictures and what are you going to believe, me or your lying eyes and your pictures are fakes like ours".
Years ago when I worked at The Free Lance-Star, my editorial page editor was friends with Henry and I think he felt an obligation to publish Henry's cartoons. They had worked together at Scripps Howard I think. But he'd ask me to talk to Henry about being funny, to teach Henry how to draw funny cartoons. I told my editor, "First, I'll have to teach him how to draw cohesive cartoons." Everybody knew Henry sucked, even his friend. I encouraged my editor to drop him but he never did.
Interesting combo PSA and bs. Only you could make me laugh about it.
