You're right, Clay. The grand pumpkin poo-bah of douche-baggery does not care about fairness. However, in a crazy twist, his douche-baggery actually aligned with fairness in a random and totally coincidental way. The red card on Balogun was the wrong call, and it was the right thing to do for FIFA to rescind it. It seems as though FIFA did the right thing for the wrong reason. Although, I wouldn't be shocked if FIFA was already going to decide the rescind the red card, then when traitor tot was asked about it, he decided to make it all about him and lied about having told FIFA to do it. That very much seems like something he would do.
Either way, it doesn't really matter. This 2026 US men's team, which has looked like the best and most capable team USA in the history of the world cup, has decided against Belgium, to play like all the US teams of the past that looked like they never belonged in the world cup at all. Christmas came early for Belgium who didn't have to do much to advance to the quarter finals.

The outcome for the US looks dim — But in my mind it is deserved fate after Trumphuk’s preposterous meddling in overturning this red card.
