But I thought Mexico was going to pay for the illegal and pointless war with Iran?

Did Trump come from Mexico? He's the only rapist and murderer I've heard about recently. If rapists and murderers came from Mexico, I guess he did. Can we deport him to Mexico? I suppose that might be treated as an act of war, huh? And given how effective we have been against Iran perhaps we would end up having to give back the Gadsden Purchase? Oh dear.

It is very clear by now, none of the money either donated to the toddler-in-chief or pledged or whatever is going anywhere else other than his own bank account.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that a ballroom with bunker costs 1 billion dollars! Security is pretty costly these days--you never know when there's a would be assassin lurking in the shadows.

I guess there's no need to pretend to care about those who can't afford groceries, gas, childcare, etc. As long as we keep our King happy. That's really all that matters!

Apparently Republicans only hate to raise taxes if they'll be used to benefit anyone other than themselves and their cronies. 😒 Great toon, Clay. I'll look forward to what you give us tomorrow.

Thanks for reminding me of all those lies I had forgotten about. Maybe there will a Time-Life book series titled:

Wait

For

It

“A LIFETIME of LIES”

NPG BELL's avatar

That will be a Time-Life encyclopedic series with cross references along with citations. I'll wait for the law library version that comes with the transcripts and footnotes of the court cases for every one of the lies, grifts and abuses of power. (Of course I'm not holding my breath because that encyclopedia set will probably be released when my descendants have descendants).

For some people keeping up with the news means replacing, in their memories, Trump's prior statements on a subject with whatever he says that day (or time in a day), regardless of conflict or contradiction. It is a matter of faith. Of course, if one were to actually use, say, the Judeo-Christian scriptures and doctrines to evaluate Trump's words and deeds, it would be pretty clear which side of the line of Good vs Evil he occupies, and has taken the country.

The “Ballroom” obsession is the epitome of Donnie J. Trumphuk’s depravity coupled with his dementia. His mendacity, his prevarication, his stupendous gaslighting—one brazen lie after another is building into a babble of bullshit so high that it might resemble an Arch de Trumphuk reeking of the bilious offal that emits from his puckered orifice. Criminy, the lying childfucker in chief even steals millions from the so-called Institute for Peace—an organization he had the temerity to rename for himself. He literally steals from the American people by taking away their health benefits and the food security while engaging in a multi billion dollar war for no purpose other than to bluster. The Ballroom bull shit is emblematic of depths of Donnie J’s corruption.

But it also shows the REPUGNANTCANS are a craven complicit coterie of corruption and cowardice.

We must show up strong for the midterms to throw them out — knowing that they will literally try every trick in the book to subvert them.

The wall, tariffs, the ballroom ... the grift goes on and we as taxpayers are getting trumped (my preferred definition of being fleeced).
