Their explanations are lies after lies after lies after...

The Department of Homeland Security claimed that Alex Pretti attacked Border Patrol agents with his gun in his hand. That was a lie.

Gregory Bovino was on CNN this morning, and he said Pretti was there to participate in the riot. There have been zero riots, which makes Bovino's claim another lie.

Bovino referred to the agents as the victims and Pretti as a suspect, though he could not tell us what Pretti was suspected of doing.

Pretti was not breaking any laws.

They have claimed that Pretti was a domestic terrorist. That was a lie, as Pretti was an ICU nurse for the VA.

They claimed Pretti was attacking the woman whom the agents had shoved to the ground. This is a lie.

Pretti was swarmed by Border Patrol agents because he tried to help a woman get to her feet, who had been shoved to the ground, and because he was filming them with his cell phone.

It was Pretti’s cell phone in his hand, not his gun.

Pretti was shot after an agent had taken his gun.

The agent who shot Pretti fired his gun at least 10 times.

Pretti was being held down and on the ground when he was shot.

Law enforcement is not trained to shoot suspects while they are being held by other law enforcement agents.

Law enforcement is not trained to brandish their weapon while a suspect is apprehended.

Pretti had a concealed carry permit.

Pretti had no criminal record other than traffic tickets.

We haven't heard this many lies coming from the Trump regime since, well, since they shot and murdered Renee Good.

Trump posted this to social media, which the White House copied and shared to Facebook.

It is not a crime for Pretti to have a gun since he had a permit to conceal and carry. Donald Trump invited Kyle Rittenhouse to MAGA-Lardo. This has nothing to do with undocumented immigrants. This has nothing to do with fraud. This has nothing to do with Ilhan Omar having $34 million in our bank account. This has nothing to do with Democrats’ so-called “open border policies.” I have not witnessed the mayor of Minneapolis or the governor of Minnesota citing an insurrection or spouting off violent rhetoric. This is Donald Trump lying and deflecting again.

If you're not pissed off yet, you need to be.

Creative note: I wasn't going to work today, but I couldn't let what happened yesterday go by without a cartoon. I sketched out a few ideas, and I liked all of them, but I went with this one today because the lies are what I wanted to focus on. Another reason I went with it is that it was quick and easy. I had a busy day with some business that I will tell you about in the near future. Right now, it's too soon to talk about.
