The East Coast Elite connoisseur sorta kinda missed the point you were making, that whether or not you had any claim to East Coast Elitism, you, like she, had family members who perceived you as such. We like your cartooning. Carry on!
Clever comments and a few factious zingers; and, we see the thin skins of the pompously highly educated. I can only get through the Administration with laughter, otherwise it would be wine for breakfast 🤭
With Harvard's history of slave-holding, and paltry admittance of blacks, jews and women to its academic programs throughout its existence, I am in shock that they actually showed some spine in rebuffing demands from the orange turd's regime. Now the turdlettes are saying that the letter sent was unauthorized. Ha! Maybe enough rich non-bigoted alumni threatened more pain than Bill Ackman. Not to mention the massive brain drain that would occur when highly qualified applicants, faculty and research funding went to other institutions. It's a pity some white-hat hackers can't access the turd's actual school and health records. We'll probably have to wait for them to be de-classified to get confirmation of how much a "genius" he really wasn't.
Did RFK, Jr. go to Harvard as a legacy student? I know, from a friend who was a classmate, that he was "unimpressive" at UVA Law School. But he was a junkie then, which may explain it - in part. More important, it should be noted that 25% of all who graduate are in the bottom quarter of their class.
If I was a snooty snoot snoot, I would make a Pitt joke. But no, NDSU, UN-Lincoln (go Huskers!). And Moorhead State. But if I did, it would be something like, “Brad Pitt? Arm Pitt!” So I don’t do that.
Does an “East Coast Elitist” have to have at least one advanced degree from one of _those_ unis? Or is it living on the East Coast [DC is Mid-Atlantic; Virginia is considered “the South”] only? Or being a Progressive or Liberal or detesting the entire Regime?
And he, the self-appointed king, brags about his intelligence bc he had an uncle who was a prof at MIT, right? I’m confused about labels. What I am not confused about is education that doesn’t have to be formal or ignoring people who need to spout their symphony tickets or cost of their housing or their parentage.
I am glad the date showed who she was early on. Good for you for going to the party & your superb retort. Feh to her & those with a need for spouting superiority-sounding words.
I'm glad you had the sense to see your own value and dropped that snooty 'elite' chick, Clay! She may have gone to college, but she isn't 'elite' in any important ways. You deserve much better!!
Looked it up cause I was curious. Oxford dictionary: “ the group of educated, professional people living mainly in cities on the western or northeastern coasts of the U.S. who have liberal political views and are often considered to have advantages that most ordinary Americans do not have:
He criticized America's coastal elites for disregarding mainstream values.”
I always appreciate the time that goes into your blog. During the first term of the Felon, I spent a lot more time online, trying (and failing) get people to understand everything The Idiot was lying about, and I have some idea of how long it must take you to create your detailed and informative blogs. Thank you.
Let us know if you decide to revisit local theater down the road. I was a theater geek in school, but I never had the courage to pursue it as an adult. The shows that are performed a couple of towns over from me generally have a quick production schedule, but I can see where even a quick schedule could cut into your work time.
Also, John Belushi is undoubtedly rolling in his grave at the mere suggestion of the Orange Pendejo reprising his role. 😂🤮 I did add Animal House to my watchlist.
Totally want to know what role/play you would have tried out for. I kind of hope it was Falstaff. (I suppose that's kind of rude - I don't mean it to be insulting, nor do I see you as yourself to be like Falstaff. I just think you could pull it off.)
Wonder if DJT or Vance care that this is creating an incentive to simply not enroll Jews or MAGA's?
No Jews or MAGA's, they can't be discriminated against by profs or students.
It'd probably take about ten minutes to set the admissions policy in such a way that no Jews or MAGA's would ever get in again. (Small note here: "legacy" admission to private schools make up 3/4 or more of the US students in every case. "Legacy" means Dad or Mom or Uncle Joe went there so you bypass the line. That's discrimination on the broad scale, and none of the big 10 (18 really, but who counts?) are at all bothered by it.)
Slam-dunk toon and blog.

We could really use John Belushi right now.
Didn't Bluto end up in the Senate?
Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Thank you for forsaking your acting career so we can enjoy your great Claytoonz and blogs!

Good cartoon, Clay. We need you doing this to keep us sane.

I'm not sure how it works. I think she was making up the rules.

I must not be nor are you, Clay.
Am curious to see if others have a clue. Thanks, Clay.

I don't know. I was told it wasn't the lead but it had more lines.
Brad Pitt?!
C’mon, Clay, I thought that you had higher aspirations than that!
Sir Patrick Stewart?… Alan Rickman?… Kirk Douglas?… Jimmy Stewart?… Laurence Olivier, Baron Olivier of Brighton?… Henry Fonda?… Burt Lancaster?…
BTW…
🥳 HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! 🥳
