I'm sure this has been mentioned before but Trump needing attention every day scares the crap out of me. He does such crazy stuff that the news has to cover it (I know they are a big part of the problem but they can't ignore this stuff) and he gets what he craves - it's like oxygen for him. It reminds me of a kid in a room full of glass containers that represent things that are good for America - education, medical help, etc. - and he gleefully goes in and smashes one everyday. Not to fix a broken container, just to smash it and watch the parents applaud their precious baby king. I worry what he will continue to do to keep his "daily crazy stuff" record intact. Also, anyone else notice that lately in all videos or pictures of him he is seated, and we don't see him walk into the room to sit down? I wonder if he is having trouble walking and/or he doesn't want to stand next to people so his height and girth can be seen more clearly.
I hope all the MAGAts learn enough about how screwed we are that when they go to the holiday parade and see those who voted for harming us all that they have signs that let them know. No violence please. Enough of that. But BIG BEAUTIFUL SIGNS explaining that we are all going to die sooner because of it and the new FDA BS on vaccinations - do they not know COVID is transmittable from someone who's ineligible for vaccination to others? And the "baby bonds" good for only a time and I'm betting that while they are held in trust and I'm pretty sure that a baby born during this (please let it end sooner) regime will NOT be able to collect -- and that it will revert to MAGAt Idol. What is wrong w/ all the House members? Rick Wilson wrote about the clear (and I'm not a doc either tho' I think Dr. Jill Biden may be qualified to diagnose) dementia in the Oval Office Putz. Let's diagnose them too - TDS yes, but it's beyond that. Ok. Rant ending. Gonna step away from the laptop. Thanks for what I think was laughter from me....it's hard to tell hysteria and amusement apart.
I really, really hope the Senate steps up to stand in the way of Herr Schitzenpanz's deplorably despicable bill; and I REALLY hope some MAGAts recognize this as a slap in the face from their orange idol. You just know Der Trumpenführer is gloating: "Hey, this is what you voted for." And for once, he won't be lying.
btw: I may be late to the game, but I just found out Harry will be back in Patience on 6/6.
Great blog. This is the nastiest presidency in our history and at some point (soon, I hope) it is all going to blow up in the country's face. I am afraid by then we are going to look like one of the pictures in the aftermath of a tornado.
Truth be told Clay, I'd prefer the personal deduction be raised that any other tax foolery. Adjusted for inflation, the original income tax deduction for a married couple ($4,000 in 1913) would be $129,661.63. (That's per the official CPI inflation calculator.)
That the personal deduction was lowered so far over time was to the advantage of only the wealthy and nobody else. Inflation and "temporary" war measures were just the excuses the wealthy needed to grind their heels into everyone's faces.
I could feel the anger through the screen while reading the blog. I like the toon but would never have the guts to wear the t-shirt in public. Call me chicken. LOL
Good toon and blog as usual, Clay! This new 'big beautiful bill' sucks big time. On a happier note, for some reason, I didn't realize until yesterday that you had merch! DUH! I was so glad to find it! I could only afford to get a few stickers, despite the great prices, but thank you for making them so reasonably priced. :)

Probably having trouble standing without help would be my guess. I see videos of him standing up, but none of him getting out of a chair.
I purchased my Pizza Rat sticker yesterday! Glad I could contribute to your multimillions. 😉
I must have one of those! I LOVE Pizza Rat!!!

But for Clay's toons and blogs like these...AUK UGH WTF...will we survive?

But, will HE really be in patience? Or locked in a cell on the other side of the moon on 6/6?
I'm pulling for both; just not in that order.

Oh dear! I cannot imagine the vitriol you have experienced for this one!

The correct term is trickled upon. Just helping you all out. Rainwear is tariffed.

Veteran politicos are calling it the worst piece of legislation they have seen in long careers.
OK. Hang on.
I may not be able to do Darth Hideous. Redbubble is weird about characters that aren't my own.
I like your ideas.
