Jason Miller, an adviser on the Trump Campaign said, “My guess is that they’re looking for a way to get out of any debate with President Trump. Regardless, there’s no way Harris is ready to be Commander in Chief.”
Miller is claiming that Vice President Harris is trying to get out of a debate with Donald Trump even though it’s Trump who suggested over the weekend that he’s prepared to run from the next scheduled debate with his tail between his legs.
Trump attacked ABC News, which is scheduled to host the next debate, calling it “Fake news.” Trump rhetorically asked (we think) on social media, “Why would I do the Debate against Kamala Harris on that network?” He mocked ABC News host George Stephanopoulos as “Liddle George Slopadopolus,” even though he doesn’t have anything to do with the upcoming debate, which is another sign of Trump’s dementia. The moderators are David Muir and Linsey Davis, NOT George Stephanopoulos. I’m surprised Trump doesn’t think it’s Mr. Snuffleupagus.
While traveling through Virginia (where it should be noted that Harris is only leading Trump by three points), he told reporters, “I think ABC really should be shut out. I’d much rather do it on NBC. I’d much rather do it on CBS. Frankly, I think CBS is very unfair, but the best of the group. And certainly, I’d do it on Fox.”
I think the lawsuit Fox News had to settle for $787.5 million for airing lies about the 2020 election should cancel them out for hosting any debates. What would they do, have Ken Paxton and Eric Trump moderate the debate?
Trump has already agreed to debate on ABC News yet now he’s trying to back out of it. Why? Because he’s afraid of Kamala Harris, and he should be.
Despite what Jason Miller said, the vice president has not shown any indications of trying to get out of the debate. That’s his candidate. But the Harris Campaign wants the microphones for each candidate to remain turned on throughout the debate.
The Trump Campaign hates this idea because Trump will most likely say a lot of stupid shit while Harris is speaking. The Biden Campaign wanted the mics muted and the Trump Campaign agreed.
Two people who want the mics left on are Harris and Trump, which undercuts his campaign’s argument. Trump wants his mic left on because he thinks he’s brilliant. Kamala Harris wants his mic left on because she knows he’s not. The Trump Campaign wants Trump’s mic muted while Harris speaking because they’re afraid he’ll say the N-word, or maybe the B-word, or maybe the C-word…I should set up an office pool.
Donald Trump is not a skilled debater. He’s not even a skilled barker. During his last debate with President Joe Biden, Trump told over 30 lies. Biden was too slow to catch them but Harris isn’t.
Rep. Jasmine Crockett said that if Trump shows up to the debate, he will have his “butt handed to him.” That’s what we all expect.
Trump needs to debate Harris because he doesn’t know how to campaign against her. Claiming she only recently “turned black” wasn’t the brilliant campaign strategy he thought it was.
Harris needs the debate too so she can demonstrate to the nation the contrast between an orange-lying racist demented carnival barker and a mature bad-ass Black woman who has his number.
The debate is scheduled for September 10, so there’s time for you to stock up on popcorn.

Well, let me be the first to say that this whole piece was just right. I loved the toon, but your narrative really hit the nail on the head.
If he mispronounces her name, she should immediately reply with a "DonOLD" or "Donny" or ???, anything to really get him going.
